Rosemary Weiner is the owner and CEO of The Brass Rose Spa, which was established in 1998. She has “hands on” experience in the start up of a Day Spa operation. In the two years preceding the opening of the spa, she was her own General Contractor for the construction of The Brass Rose Spa facilities, conducted product and treatment research, developed written policies and procedures, and assembled a core of spa professionals to develop and test products and treatments, for the spa. Her medical background was key to the use of alternative therapies for their menu of services.
Prior to entering the spa industry Rosemary had a distinguished career as a nurse and as the Vice President of operations and a partner/owner of a Fortune 500 national health care cost containment company. She used her medical background and business acumen in developing the policies, procedures, treatments, culture, and philosophy that are the cornerstone of The Brass Rose and a model for the industry.

Mary Lynne is Co-chair of first Women Build in Newark NJ, and along with Mary Scott, developed strategy and steering committee to lead the fund raising efforts to over $120000 in one year including a fund raiser gala which raised over $20000. The house was completed and occupied in December 2004.

Along with Co-chair, Carol Paster steered the committees that raised an additional $90000 and built a second home that was occupied in April 2006.
Currently involved in formation of Women Build III, forming committees that will raise the $90000 needed to fund the house and secure volunteers for the building of a third home. Along with husband Don, honored as “Volunteers of the Year 2005” for Habitat for Humanity Newark, recipient of the “Advancing the Status of Women’ award from the Soroptimist International of Suburban Essex and invited speaker and awardee for the Department of Homeland Security’s Security’s “Women Changing America” program in March 2005.

Michael A. Cater Sr. is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Athena of Nashville Inc., d/b/a Athena Health Club and Day Spa. He is also the President of Athena Health Sphere LLC, injury prevention and wellness company providing contracted health improvement and wellness services to corporate clients.
Prior to moving to Nashville and launching Athena Health Club and Day Spa in 2002, Michael and his family lived in Waterloo, Belgium.
Mr. Carter’s previous experience includes serving as Director of Marketing and Government Affairs for Anthem Alliance Health Insurance a Department of Defense Health Care Contractor and Internal Compliance Manager for Anthem Senior Advantage.

Michael Beresford is the President and Founder of Moor Spa Inc. based in Vancouver, Canada. He has been an active participant and keen observer of trends in the spa industry for 12 years. Based on the healing properties of the Austrian Deep Moor, the line is now distributed in over 15 countries.
