“The Beauty Show” a “feature magazine TV show”, think “Extra” meets the “Travel Channel” that blends current news and information in the spa, beauty, fitness, and fashion industries, will be producing a new feature called “The Best Day Spas" – within cities throughout the U.S. The new segment, supported by the Day Spa Association with member spas having the opportunity to be featured, will cover news on the latest treatment and trends and the personalities and innovators behind the scenes.
“The Beauty Show” is currently seen on In-flight Airline Programming worldwide and soon to be syndicated on cable stations with 28 million available households.
“The Best Day Spa” segment is designed to support the Spa industry through the Show’s VIP Passport Membership, which viewers sign up for to receive a special VIP package from Affiliate Day Spa partners.
For a limited time, “The Beauty Show” will choose only Day Spas, which are members of The Day Spa Association for the special news features during the up-coming thirteen show series. The Day Spa Association, as a sponsor, has negotiated that the very high costs and limited airtime for the news segments will be waived for their spa members. Product companies within the spas are encouraged to help take part in the marketing costs, making it an affordable participation to DSA spa members.

Here is a new term I found by Healing News by Laurel W. House
(in case you missed it in Healing Retreats & Spas)
"Anger-orbic"
Do false accusations, freeway accidents, and friendly reminders to pay your bills make your temper terse? We are all akin to bad days, however, regularly erupting into an all-out rage is a condition that may need adjusting. Exercise is one way to blow off steam, but have you tried anger-obics? According to anger-management specialists, you can actually fetter a frenetic fury with several simple anger-obic techniques - no leotard or leg warmers required:
- First you need to warm up.
Determine where your anger resides. This is the easy part. Just examine your body's language. Are your shoulders pressed up to your ears? Is your jaw clenched? Focus on those parts, breathe into them, and visualize them relaxing as your anger is freed.
- Try a little improvisational dance.
Grab a scraf. That will be the embodiment of your anger. Holding it with your non-dominent hand, dance around with it. Notice how it moves. Does it swirl around or tangle between your legs? As you continue to dance, are its movements calming down?
- Try posing.
In yoga, the spiritual warrior represents a soldier that does not fight, but instead inspires harmony. Stand in Sprititual Warrior Pose and behold the potency of peace.
- Stomp on it.
The mind is a very powerful thing. Write your strife on a post-it and affix it to the bottom of your shoe. Go out for a long run. Each time that foot hits the pavement, your problem's power is fading. Once you return home, you won't even be able to discern it.
Once you complete your anger-obics routine, the root of your rage will be but a speck on your shoe. Smile, laugh, and you will find yourself happier.
Move your body to modify your mind!
