Dear Friends and Colleagues,
What an incredible year it’s been. I officially took over as President of the DSA and IMSA in August 2010 and wow, it’s been the fastest year of my life! As we head into 2012, I’m so proud of the progress we’ve made and I cannot wait to share with you new developments that lie ahead of us.
I would like to share a few of our accomplishments from last year:
- New state-of-the-art software. Accessing membership information has never been easier. Members really appreciate the time they save when inquiring about name changes, dues information and more.
- Cutting-edge website. If you have a few minutes, visit the many sections of our site. We are very pleased with input from our industry to the Resource Library, Job Bank, and new List of Affiliate Organizations. And don’t forget to check out the Testimonials from your colleagues on why they are DSA members.
- Membership Benefits. We’ve listened to what you want and are proud to present a robust benefits package loaded with money saving programs. Please visit our Benefits section here.
- Affordable Dues. We were able to keep the price of membership below many other associations and are confident you’ll see there isn’t a better value for your dollars in the industry. By utilizing a minimum of benefits, you will earn back four times your dues - there’s no better value!
The question that comes up most often is “what is the value of membership?” or “how do I make my membership pay for itself?” It used to be that joining your industry Association just to be a member and support our industry was enough. We are very proud of all our benefits, but understand the most important value of membership is YOUR VOICE. This is your Association and we want to hear from you. It doesn’t matter what the topic is, just tell us what’s on your mind. We’ll respond to all emails and phone calls!
