An easy-to-read primer about stress and
how to handle it.
How many times have you asked yourself, "How will I ever
get through this day?" Hundreds, I'll bet. People are tested
and stretched beyond their limits by factors obvious and inexplicable
all the time. I don't know where the description "normal"
comes from, because no one I know has a "normal" life.
Who needs stress management? We all do. Stressors happen--we can't
avoid them, but how we handle them makes all the difference in
our health and happiness. The great news is that medical science
has discovered that relaxation and stress management techniques
actually counter the negative effects of the stressors we encounter
every day.
